Easter events abound in East County

Corbett’s Old MacDonald's Farm offers an egg hunt, a telling of the Easter story from “Ruffy” the donkey, and a chance to meet farm animals beginning at 11 a.m. The hunt starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at 1001 S.E. Evans Road. A $1 donation is suggested.

Meet the Easter Bunny at Gresham Town Fair

GRESHAM — Shoppers with receipts of $25 or more will get a free photo with the Easter Bunny between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Gresham Town Fair, at the corner of Northeast Division Street and Northwest Eastman Parkway. In addition to many holiday sales, Easter treats and balloon art will also be offered.


Pancakes, eggs, worship at Powell Valley church

GRESHAM — Powell Valley Covenant Church is holding a pancake breakfast and egg hunt starting at 8 a.m. Sunday, March 23. Breakfast will be served for $1 from 8 to 9:30 a.m., followed by the church’s Easter Sunday worship session at 10 a.m. and an egg hunt after services. Registration is required, so call 503-663-3013 to register and get directions to the event. If you register by Wednesday, March 19, you will receive a complimentary “Breakfast Buck.”


Mega candy and prizes at Gresham egg hunt

Annual egg hunt at West Gresham school

GRESHAM — City firefighters will help scatter eggs on the playground of West Gresham Elementary School for the 57th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 22. Hosted by Piazza Patrick Group of Persimmon Realty. The school is at 330 W. Powell Blvd.


Rocks, thunder eggs at Mt. Hood

GRESHAM — More than 1,000 pounds of polished rock and thunder eggs and plastic eggs will be hidden on the soccer field near Mt. Hood Community College’s gymnasium as part of its Easter Thunder-Egg and Rock Hunt on Saturday, April 5.

Beginning at 2 p.m., children 12 and younger can search for the eggs and enjoy treasure hunts, games and a raffle while parents enjoy the Rock Club’s annual Rock, Gem and Craft Show, which continues on Sunday. Mt. Hood Community College is at 26000 S.E. Stark St.


Elks Lodge to hold egg hunt

GRESHAM — Gresham Elks Lodge 1805, at 3330 N.E. Division St., will hold its free egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22. For more information, call 503-666-1805.


Edgefield egg hunts, brunch

TROUTDALE — McMenamins Edgefield, 2126 S.W. Halsey St., invites all people to enjoy house-roasted coffees, sparkling wines and a delicious holiday brunch at the Black Rabbit Restaurant from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 23. Children’s Easter egg hunts will be held on the lawn at 9 and 11 a.m. Reservations for brunch are required, so call 503-492-3086.


Easter Bunny stops by outlets

TROUTDALE — The Easter Bunny will hop in to make a special appearance from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Columbia Gorge Premium Outlets, 450 N.W. 257th Way. The Bunny will offer Easter treats and balloons during his visit, and he will pose for pictures with children.


Columbia Ridge hosts egg hunt

TROUTDALE — All kids, from toddlers through the sixth grade, are invited to join the Columbia Ridge Community Church’s Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Imagination Station, 1900 S.W. River of Life holds egg hunt

TROUTDALE — An Easter egg hunt for infants to children up to age 10 will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Columbia Park, 1900 S.W. Imagination Way.
