New Troutdale restaurant adds wine selection
As of two weeks ago, downtown Troutdale’s new Italian restaurant, Ristorante di Pompello, added a broad selection of wines to its menu, which blends a fusion of Italian, American and Mexican dishes.
Owner and chef Saul Pompeyo, pictured with Mike Mayett, left, sous chef, opened the restaurant in March at 177 E. Historic Columbia Highway across from Mayors Square, and says the restaurant’s business has been slow since its opening. But he encourages residents to check it out. It is open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week and includes delivery and live music options. For more information, call 503-667-2480 or visit www.dipompello.com.
