Carlos Eqjuarez, 15, 10th grade

I like the way he talked about his life story, like how he couldn’t go to school unless he went in the early, early morning and that his mom kept encouraging him.

I think it was actually good for him to address the kids because usually he just addresses the adults.


Sam Brandt, 14, ninth grade

What I really liked about it was his main focus wasn’t, you should be working just for yourself but what you work for will impact other people.

I thought he kept the political aspect of it out very well.
