Learning Lab: Guide to English Language Learning Resources – 2 to 4 p.m., Rockwood Library, 17917 S.E. Tiny Tots – 10 to 10:45 a.m., Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave. Story time for children 12 to 24 months old with an adult. Call 503-988-5387 for information.
Tiny Tots – 10:15 to 11 a.m., Fairview-Columbia Library, 1520 N.E. Village St. Story time for children 12 to 24 months old with an adult. Infants up to 12 months old are also welcome.
Toddler Story Time – 11 to 11:30 a.m., Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave. For children ages 24 to 36 months with an adult.
Computer Lab – 4 to 6 p.m., Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave. Lab assistants are available to help beginners practice their computer skills.
TUESDAY, JAN. 5
Cyber Seniors Computer Class – 10 a.m. to noon, Rockwood Library, 17917 S.E. Stark St. A series of classes for seniors who want to learn how to use a computer. Register online, in the library or call 503-988-5234.
Book Babies – 10:15 to 11 a.m., Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave. Story time for infants up to 12 months old with an adult.
Preschool Story Time – 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave. For children ages 3 to 6 years with an adult.
Homeschool Book Group for Tweens – 1 to 2 p.m., Fairview-Columbia Library, 1520 N.E. Village St. For homeschoolers age 10 to 14. Read “Saffy’s Angel” by Hilary McKay and talk about books with new friends.
Computer Lab – 4 to 7 p.m., Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave. Lab assistants are available to help beginners practice their computer skills.
Adelita’s Knitting – 4:30 to 6 p.m., Rockwood Library, 17917 S.E. Stark St. Knitting time for beginners to advanced levels, ages 12 to 18. Bring supplies if you have them, and needles and yarn are provided for in-class use.
Intercambio/Language Exchange – 6 to 7:30 p.m., Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave. Engage with English speakers who want to practice their Spanish, or Spanish speakers who want to practice their English.
