SUNDAY, SEPT. 20

Super Kids Resale Event – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., old Gresham Goodwill, 1776 N.W. Fairview Drive. Families can shop for gently used back-to-school clothes or baby clothes. MONDAY, SEPT. 21

“The Elder Journey” Workshop – 10:30 a.m. to noon, Woodland Park Plaza, Second Floor, 10373 N.E. Hancock St., Portland. This free workshop for men ages 60 and older teaches a seven-step model of successful aging and a discussion of what it means when people age. Little Trout Play Park – 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays until June 8, Sam Cox Building, Glenn Otto Community Park, 1106 E. Historic Columbia River Highway, Troutdale. For ages 0-5. Kids make playtime pals while they ride trikes, catch balls and build castles. Cost is $1.50 per child each visit. Participants will receive a calendar of dates when there is no play park. Computer Lab – 4 to 7 p.m., Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave. Lab assistants are available to help beginners practice their computer skills.

Adelita’s Knitting – 4:30 to 6 p.m., Rockwood Library, 17917 S.E. Stark St. Whether you are an experienced or beginning knitter, join in the fun as participants learn together. Needles and yarn are provided for in-class use, but bring supplies if you have them. For ages 12-18. Call 503-988-5396 for more information.

Intercambio/Language Exchange – 6 to 7:30 p.m., Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave. Practice speaking English or Spanish in a friendly atmosphere. Beginners are welcome.

Technohosts – 6 to 8 p.m., Rockwood Library, 17917 S.E. Stark St. Volunteers help you search the web, use e-mail and look up materials with the library’s online catalog.

Pageturners Book Group – 6:30 to 7:45 p.m., Fairview-Columbia Library, 1520 N.E. Village St. Read “No Ordinary Time, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt: The Home Front in World War II” by Doris Kearns Goodwin and have a conversation about books.
