Mothers and children of all ages are invited to enjoy spooky treats and drinks, Halloween music, dancing, games and socializing.

Activities include potlucks, parties, picnics, playgroups, moms’ night out and more.
Its goals are to provide a support group for mothers who choose to be stay-at-home moms, to provide a forum for topics of interest to mothers, to help children in the community and to perform at least one service project yearly to help needy children.

Starting this week, TriMet is using federal stimulus funds to improve several MAX stations in East County.
TriMet was awarded $53.3 million in federal funds to fix its infrastructure, make the transit system more robust and to put people to work. The 31 stimulus projects are projected to fund 740 direct jobs and 1,100 indirect jobs.
The projects include repainting four MAX stations in the Gresham area and upgrading various street and rail crossings at 11 MAX stations with new signs, pavement markings, chains, bollards and railings. Other planned projects include refurbishing a secured bike cage and installing fencing, lighting and signage at Gresham Central Station, and replacing tactile pavers, which alert blind and low-vision pedestrians to the tracks, at five stations.
