Tiny Tots Class and Skate – 9:30 to 11 a.m., Gresham Skate World, 1220 N.E. Kelly Ave. Cost is $3.75. With every paid admission, one parent can skate free. Call 503-667-1647 for information.

Homeschool Skate – 1 to 3 p.m., Gresham Skate World, 1220 N.E. Kelly Ave. Cost is $3.75. Open to homeschoolers of all ages. Call 503-667-1647 for information.

Mommy and Baby Activity Class – 1 to 2 p.m. Thursdays until Nov. 19, Sam Cox Building, 1106 E. Historic Columbia River Highway, Troutdale. This class consists of dance, walking, going to the park and other activities moms can do with their babies and with other moms and babies in this four-week class. For infants ages 3 to 18 months. Mental Illness Support Group for Family Members – 6 to 7:30 p.m., Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center, Administrative Building, Columbia Room, 23800 S.E. Stark St. A drop-in group for family members of people who have a mental illness to share their stories and find support. No registration needed. For information, call Lin at 503-492-1229. Friday Fun Fest Skate – 6:30 to 10 p.m., Gresham Skate World, 1220 N.E. Kelly Ave. Cost is $6.75. Celebrate the end of the month with skating, games and prize raffles. Call 503-667-6543 for information.

Friday Night Basketball – 7:30 to 9 p.m., Walt Morey Middle School, 2801 S.W. Lucas Drive, Troutdale. For ages 12-17. Participants must be dressed to play basketball or will not be permitted in gym. Senior Center Events

The Gresham Senior Center, the YWCA and the Multnomah County East Building, located at 600 N.E. Eighth St. in Gresham, hosts a number of activities throughout the week for senior citizens and people with disabilities. Classes and activities may be moved to a different room, so check at the front desk or call 503-988-4870 the day before.
