As of Thursday, Nov. 19, this fall’s backyard burning season is over in Gresham, Fairview and Wood Village. The next backyard burn season will be in spring 2010.
Residents living within the city limits of Gresham, Fairview and Wood Village east of approximately 182nd Avenue should watch for an announcement from Gresham Fire & Emergency Services before burning in the spring or call the burn information line at 503-618-3083. This line includes information for Gresham, Fairview, Troutdale, Wood Village and the Multnomah County area within Gresham Fire & Emergency Service’s jurisdiction.
Open burning and agricultural burning seasons, both of which require permits, will end Tuesday, Dec 15.
