American Association of University Women, Gresham branch – 6:30 p.m., Gresham Memorial Chapel and Events Center, 257 S.E. Roberts Ave. Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown will be the featured speaker. The meeting is open to the public.

Key Conversation on Poverty – 6:30 p.m., Trinity Lutheran Church, 507 W. Powell Blvd. Members, which include local church leaders, social service agency leaders and community activists, meet to brainstorm about the local resources that are available to the community in an attempt to help eradicate poverty in East Multnomah County.
