Bingo Night Fundraiser for Sandy Sliderz – 5:30 p.m., Naas Elementary School, 12240 S.E. School Ave., Boring. This fundraiser, benefiting the Sandy Sliderz 14U Softball Team, will include a dinner buffet and dessert from Olive Garden at 5:30 p.m. and seven games of bingo starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 per person, $5 for children ages 13 and under or $35 for a family of five people. People with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers can benefit from the shared experiences of others in a supportive environment. Open to patients, caregivers, family members and friends. Columbia Slough 101 – 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., Multnomah County Drainage Districts, 1880 N.E. Elrod Drive, Portland. Learn about the history, wildlife and water flow of the Columbia Slough, which flows past Portland and East County, at this hands-on workshop with experts.
