Gorge paving project begins

Road crews are working to resurface Interstate 84 from Multnomah Falls to Cascade Locks from March to November. The $11.3 million project will pave in both directions, as well as the entrance and exit ramps. The Oregon Department of Transportation asks motorists to be cautious while passing through the work zone between mileposts 31.8 and 46.1 as crews temporarily close single lanes on both sides of the freeway.

St. Patrick’s Day celebration planned on the plaza

The Center for the Arts Plaza in downtown Gresham will be the home of the St. Patrick’s Day celebration of all things Irish on Wednesday, March 17.
