County ends two H1N1 flu vaccine clinics

ADVERTISEMENTS

With the flu season winding down, Multnomah County will end two of its H1N1 vaccine clinics next week.

The county’s Health Department said that on Monday, March 22, the vaccine clinics at the Women, Infants and Children locations in East County and Gateway would be discontinued, as will vaccine clinics at La Clinica de Buena Salud.

Health officials said the service changes are due to the large number of people who have already received vaccinations and reduced demand that is not unusual at this time of year.

H1N1 vaccine will still be available at no charge at the Health Department’s Community Immunization Clinic, 426 S.W. Stark St., either by appointment (503-988-3828) or during walk-in hours from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
