Repairs closing Stark Street Bridge March 22-26

The Stark Street Bridge across the Sandy River near Troutdale will be closed to all users from Monday, March 22, through Friday, March 26, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for repair work. The closure will allow Multnomah County Road Services crews to make repairs on the bridge deck, guardrails, and on the pavement approaching the bridge.

Some of the work is weather dependent. Local and emergency access will be provided to either side of the bridge but not across the bridge during the workday.

The west side detour is Stark Street to Troutdale Road to Buxton Road to Historic Columbia River Highway. The east side detour is Historic Columbia River Highway to Troutdale Bridge at Glenn Otto Park.

Multnomah County maintains the Stark Street Bridge, six Willamette River bridges and 300 miles of roads.
