SATURDAY, NOV. 21

Family Storytime – noon to 12:30 p.m., Rockwood Library, 17917 S.E. Stark St. Storytime for children ages 6 and younger with an adult. Call 503-988-5387 for information.

Tapestry of Tales Family Matinee – 2 to 2:45 p.m., Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave. Enjoy a storytelling performance by one of the finest storytellers in the nation. Featuring Donald Davis. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Free tickets for seating will be available 30 minutes prior to the program.

Talk Time – 3 to 4:30 p.m., Rockwood Library, 17917 S.E. Stark St. An informal time for non-native speakers to practice speaking English. Meet new people, share your culture and have fun. Only English will be spoken.

Senior Center events

The Gresham Senior Center, the YWCA and the Multnomah County East Building, located at 600 N.E. Eighth St. in Gresham, hosts a number of activities throughout the week for senior citizens and people with disabilities. Classes and activities may be moved to a different room, so check at the front desk or call 503-988-4870 the day before.

THURSDAY, NOV. 19

Billiards, Puzzles and Games – 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Open Computer Lab – 9 to 11:30 a.m. Practice your computer skills, check your e-mail, play games or surf the Internet. Call Dorothy at 503-988-3840, ext. 29989, for information.

Sewing and Quilting – 9 a.m. to noon.

Tai Chi for Beginners – 10 to 11 a.m.

Hand and Foot Card Game – 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

V.I.E.W.S. Senior Support Group – 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Learn healthy ways of dealing with aging and talk about life changes. To register, call Laura Heller at 503-261-6178.

Duplicate Bridge Club – 11:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
